Association of Indonesian
Practitioners for Waste and Garbage
Management

INTRODUCTION

A beautiful environment is what we all dream of.
A beautiful environment is an area that has a clean area, lots of trees growing and far from pollution.

Protecting the environment through the following conservation measures:

•  Reducing the amount of waste  •  Throwing garbage in its place  •  Turning waste into useful products  •  Using environmentally friendly products and or recycled products  •  Saving Energy  •  Planting Trees

ABOUT US

The Association of Indonesian Practitioners for Waste and Garbage Management was founded by Mr. Nathanael Henky, Mr. Ignatius Daluri, Mr. Muh. Birokhim, and Mr. Asnatius, who is an environmental observer.

VISION

As a gathering place for observers, activists, environmental practitioners and elements of society from various scientific disciplines, both from private and government institutions to create an Indonesian society that is dignified and environmentally conscious for the sake of preserving nature based on the Almighty God.

MISSION

1. Collaborating with related agencies to develop up-to-date handling and control of waste and garbage in Indonesia.
2. Providing ongoing coaching, training and counseling to P3LSI members.
3. Creating innovative products and various methods for better control of waste and garbage in Indonesia.
4. Providing solutions to companies regarding hazardous waste and its control.

I. MANAGEMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL DOCUMENTS FOR COMPANIES

This document can be processed through P3LSI, because we are here to serve you.

II. ENVIRONMENTAL FITNESS TESTING

WATER
TEST

Water quality analysis is carried out to determine the suitability of water for certain uses, comparing it with water quality standards according to water class.

Clean water quality testing is divided into 3 parameters, namely
• Physics, (temperature, turbidity, color, electrical conductivity (DHL), Total of dissolved solids (TDS), taste and smell

• Chemistry (COD, DO (Dissolved Oxygen), water pH, salinity, DO, Phosphate, Nitrite, and Nitrate), and

• Biology (BOD, POM (Particulated Organic Matter), Nutrients, Chlorophyll, Phytoplankton, Zooplankton, presence or absence of these microorganisms).

Water quality standards: limits or levels of living things, substances, energy or components that exist or must be present and or pollutant elements that are tolerable in water.

AIR TEST

Ambient air quality is influenced by many factors, including: weather conditions (wind direction, wind speed), temperature, rainfall, natural landscape at the location where the equipment is placed, condition of the equipment and activities/businesses that produce local pollution/emissions.

Monitoring of ambient air quality, among others: Know the air quality conditions and their trends Validate the pollution model that has been created Study the effects of air pollution ON THE ENVIRONMENT Fulfillment of quality standard data, evaluation.

The parameters monitored for ambient air grab method are Nitrogen dioxide (NO2), Sulfur dioxide (SO2), Oxidants (Ox), Hydrogen sulfide (H2S), carbon monoxide (CO), Ammonia (NH3), Lead (Pb), Hydrocarbons ( HC), dust, temperature, wind speed and direction, and registered with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry via the Android application.

Good air quality standards, referring to the Air Pollution Standard Index (ISPU) are 0-50, declared safe for humans, animals, plants and buildings.

P3LSI always provides laboratory testing services to provide practical services for controlling air quality and water quality in our environment.

III. CLEAN and DRINKING WATER CONTROL MANAGEMENT

Providing clean water for underprivileged residents is a priority for P3LSI, because it is appropriate for underprivileged residents to get clean water for their health.

P3LSI’s target is to provide clean water that is suitable for drinking,

but if there is a scarcity of water available, at least the water will not pollute the surrounding environment.

IV. ENVIRONMENTAL WASTE CONTROL MANAGEMENT

The main principles
in the circular economy
concept are:

Reduce, reduce waste-impacting materials
Reuse, reuse these materials
Recycle, recycle materials that become waste
Recovery, repair of recycled materials
Repair, integrating recycled materials

Waste control in question is to reduce and reuse the use of materials that impact waste, as well as sorting materials that will become waste, before entering the recycling process. Efficiency in sorting waste is a must, because the biggest cost in controlling waste lies in the SORTING process.

TEKNOLOGI
SORTIR SAMPAH

WASTE PROCESSING, as well as its UTILIZATION will be carried out by P3LSI partners who are competent in their fields.

V. ORGANIC WASTE CONTROL MANAGEMENT BECOME ELECTRICITY

VI. INDUSTRIAL WASTE CONTROL MANAGEMENT

Collaborating with industry for industry, together with P3LSI whose members are environmental practitioners, are also competent for industrial waste control. Working together with relevant competent experts, P3LSI is able to provide the best solutions for handling industrial waste.

VII. WASTE TIRE CONTROL MANAGEMENT

P3LSI – trying to prioritize technology in controlling existing waste. Used tires that are not looked after, are of concern to P3LSI, so that they can be converted into “Wiederverwertung” which apparently have high economic value as follows:

Instead of costly depositing, used tyres are completely separated into three recyclable components.

VIII. HOSPITAL MEDICAL WASTE CONTROL MANAGEMENT

INCINERATOR TECHNOLOGY

P3LSI actively carrying out design engineering in technology development Incinerators for hospitals, with the ultimate hope that hospital waste will not become a new cluster in the spread of disease.

IX. AIR WASTE CONTROL

X. CONTROL MANAGEMENT AND UTILIZATION OF FARM ANIMAL MANURE,
FOR BIOGAS AND FERTILIZER

P3LSI plays an active role in
maintaining a balanced ecosystem.

With the increase in the number of livestock, the “waste” of animal waste also increases which can be used as BIOGAS and Fertilizer, as shown in the picture below.
